It is Thursday, September 5th and time to look back in the Moody archives today. With many of our throwback pictures, we continue to embrace the company’s history and heritage. Much of that heritage came from providing many western Pennsylvania households with good water quality and adequate quantity for domestic use. This picture of Moody’s cable tool drilling rig operated by Melvin Hickernell was taken approximately 70 years ago in September 1954 at a location just south of the City of Meadville. We hope that friends of Moody continue to enjoy our look back at our company history through our pictures that we will continue to share.
