Moody and Associates is pleased to welcome Garrett C. Schmidt, P.G. as a Project Manager II at our Waverly, NY office. Garrett brings over 14 years of experience in the environmental consulting arena. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in geology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds a professional geologist license in the State of New York. He specializes in the collection, interpretation, and reporting of soil, sediment, surface water, soil vapor and groundwater data. Garrett has also conducted Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and complex subsurface investigations at numerous commercial and industrial facilities throughout the United States. He has extensive experience as a field team leader for remedial investigations (RIs) at former manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites and has played an integral role in data management and report writing for those projects.
Garrett’s professional responsibilities have also included project and construction management, site safety officer, field team leader, coordination and oversight of remedial construction work and the preparation of investigation and construction project work plans and completion reports.
