8/22/19 – 1st Annual Moody Company Picnic

On August 16th, Moody employees from all three offices gathered for our 1st annual company picnic at Drake Well Museum, near Titusville, PA. After some brief remarks by Moody’s president (Jeff Walentosky), the day included a great presentation by retired Moody principal, Burt Waite, on “Nitro Shooting of Oil and Water Wells”, some team building activities with a scavenger hunt and informal tours of the museum and exhibit grounds.

After an enjoyable BBQ lunch, some well-deserved employee recognition, prize drawings and photographs, the employees split into group activities at nearby locations that included fully guided tours around the museum grounds, hiking and biking in Oil Creek State Park, golfing at Cross Creek Resort and trap shooting at the Venango County Coon and Fox Club.

We were truly blessed by a great weather day and good partners for our day’s activities. Many thanks to the staff at Drake Well Museum for accommodations and helping to make the day a success for us. The attached pictures tell much of the story of a very fun day. We’re already looking forward to the 2nd annual outing in the summer of 2020.
