2/27/2025 – Remembering A Retired Moody Employee

Today is a sad day for us at Moody and Associates, Inc. While many of our current employees would not remember him, we look back at our past with our legacy of drilling large capacity water supply wells. On February 22nd, William “Billy” Knight passed away after a long bout with cancer. Billy started with Moody in 1970 as a driller’s helper. When Billy retired in 2015, he was Moody’s primary cable tool rig driller. He and his wife Toni were friends to many people in Crawford County, especially in the Conneaut Lake area. We shared a link to his obituary below and have a picture of a group of Moody employees, including Billy (on the far right) from approximately 1970, when the group was getting off the plane at the Meadville airport following a 10-day stint drilling water wells in the Pocono Mountains.
