It was a great evening with the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, as a large crowd gathered at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe for the 20th anniversary celebration of the discovery of the Marcellus Shale. To mark the occasion and significance of the drilling of the Renz #1 in 2004, Chamber President Jeff Kotula introduced Dave Callahan, President of the Marcellus Shale Coalition and Dennis Degner, CEO of Range Resources for a “fireside chat” that provided insight into past, current and future activities within the oil/gas industry. Jessie Bobrzynski, Matt Mitchell, Cody Hearst, Jim Lyle and Jeff Walentosky from Moody were in attendance at this event.
