NAIOP Pittsburgh hosted another great Chapter meeting on Thursday, October 17th at The Rivers Club in downtown Pittsburgh. Moody’s Jim Lyle joined the audience to hear from Dennis Davin, SVP of JLL and former Secretary of DCED, who moderated the two-member panel which consisted of the current Secretary of the DCED, Rick Siger and Chief Development Officer of the URA of Pittsburgh, Tom Link. Secretary Siger spoke on economic development, tourism and the PA SITES program, which Governor Shapiro has secured $400 million to develop more high-quality, pad-ready sites for companies to expand or set up new operations in Pennsylvania. Mr. Link spoke on the opportunities and challenges of bridging public and private investments with available land that creates sustainable jobs and businesses, healthy neighborhoods and thriving communities across all of Pittsburgh.
