On Monday, October 14th, Moody President, Jeff Walentosky, provided some remarks as part of a Orphaned and Abandoned Well Panel at the 2024 Energy & Climate Security Conference held by the Drake Forum at several locations in northwestern Pennsylvania.
The Orphaned and Abandoned Well Panel included friends of Moody, John Phillips, President of the Oil Region Alliance and John R. Cubbon, Senior Petroleum Engineer and Owner of Airdale Oil & Gas. It was a very interactive 75 minutes with the audience to discuss the challenges and opportunities revolving around northwest Pennsylvania’s thousands of orphaned and abandoned wells. This conference continues through the end of today, where the Drake Forum concludes in Titusville at the Drake Well Museum.
