Yesterday, Brooke and Hancock County, West Virginia and Jefferson County, Ohio held their annual Economic Outlook in the Ohio Valley event in Weirton. During this event, leaders talked about challenges that could affect the region’s ability to grow, including the size and readiness of the workforce. In addition, Dr. John Deskins from West Virginia University offered some remarks and observations regarding the economic and population data for the Ohio Valley in comparison to other regions throughout the United States. Jim Lyle from Moody was in attendance for this insightful gathering.
