Today, Moody and Associates sponsored and assisted the Penn Northwest Development Corporation in the organization and development of their first “Environmental Summit”, which was held at the Grove City Hampton Inn. The major theme of the “Environmental Summit” was Brownfield redevelopment projects and the impacts that these projects have on our communities in western Pennsylvania.
Penn Northwest and Moody assembled a great lineup of speakers for the 50 attendees for this event. The speakers included leadership from the Northwest Regional Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PA DEP), a panel of economic development leaders from Mercer, Venango and Washington Counties and a panel of industry experts that provided insight from the environmental, engineering and legal perspectives.
Moody would like to thank Rod Wilt and his staff at Penn Northwest for offering this event opportunity to their members, as we hope the “Environmental Summit” will be an annual event going forward.
