West Virginia Emergency Oil & Gas Rule

Emergency rule enacted on August 22, 2011 by Randy Huffman, Secretary of the WV Department of Environmental Protection regarding to horizontal oil and gas well development.

This rule shall govern and apply to permit application requirements, operational rules to protect water quantity and quality, and public notice procedures for oil or natural gas operators developing horizontal wells.
