Moody & Associates, Incorporated is pleased to announce the relocation of its Houston, Pennsylvania regional office. The new location was selected to better serve the current and future needs of our clients. Moody & Associates, Inc. was established in 1891 and is now in its fourth generation of continuous operation with Jeff Moody serving as President. The company provides consulting services related to ground water and environmental projects and contracting well services for municipal and industrial clients. Moody has its home office in Meadville, PA, and regional offices in Fairport, NY and Houston, PA.
The new office is located near Houston, PA within Foxpointe Centre’s Building Two. Foxpointe Centre is located on Johnson Road, and is convenient to the Meadowlands Race Track Road exit on I-79, north of the city of Washington, Pennsylvania. This campus-like setting provides for modern offices with expanded computer
network and enhanced telephone and internet communications, and includes the availability of a conference and training theater to accommodate up to 75 people.
The new office is currently supported with a local professional consulting staff comprised of Geologists and Earth Scientists engaged in issues that involve ground water, surface water and other related environmental projects. An expanded graphics and database group in focusing on the management of information using Geographic Information System (GIS) application software for both internal business management and for client project needs.
The new office is managed by Barry Sutphin, PG, a Senior Geologist with 35 years experience in the consulting, mining and construction industries. Barry’s broad background has included work in 18 states spanning from the East Coast to the Rocky Mountains, and he has worked both as a consultant to and directly for industry. Having worked both sides of the client-consultant relationship, Barry has a good appreciation for both the needs and constraints of our clients.
William Wright, PG, a Senior Geologist anchors the Mine Services Group at this office with his 30 years of consultation to the mining industry. Paula Hunt, PG, is a recent addition to the office, and brings 15 years of environment consultation to the management team.
